MAME4droid 2024 (0.270)

MAME4droid 2024 replicates classic arcade games and systems using the latest MAME 0.270 framework.

Developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco), MAME4droid 2024 is an Android adaptation of the MAME 0.270 emulator created by MAMEDev and collaborators. It supports arcade classics and platforms such as ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, and MSX. This MAME edition is compatible with over 40,000 unique ROMs.

This MAME4droid iteration is optimized for high-performance Android devices, as it's built upon the newest PC MAME version that demands more advanced hardware than previous releases.

Even with premium hardware, don't anticipate flawless performance or full compatibility with "modern" arcade titles from the 1990s onward.

With support for over 40,000 games and systems, performance will vary—some titles will operate smoothly while others may not function at all. Given the extensive library, we cannot guarantee compatibility for every game and cannot provide individual technical support for specific titles.

After installation, transfer your MAME-compatible zipped ROMs to /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.seleuco.mame4d2024/files/roms (Additional ROM directory options are explained in the help section).

CRITICAL NOTE: This MAME4droid version exclusively uses '0.269' romsets and is incompatible with romsets from earlier versions.
