As Grandma, I'm ready to take on the challenge of scaring the neighbor and ensuring they don't escape the house. Here's how I'll do it:

2. Setting the Scene: I'll start by sitting in my rocking chair on the porch, making sure it squeaks loudly with every movement. The eerie sound will set a spooky atmosphere and make the neighbor think twice about coming out.

3. The Whistle: If the neighbor tries to sneak out, I'll let out a sharp whistle. It's loud enough to startle anyone and will make them think twice about taking another step.

4. Flashlight Tactics: If they still try to move, I'll shine my flashlight directly at them. The sudden burst of light will disorient them, and I'll move the beam around to create confusing shadows.

5. Surprise from the Pockets: If all else fails, I'll reach into my apron pockets and pull out some harmless but startling items - like a rubber spider or a fake snake. A quick toss in their direction should send them scurrying back inside.
