Tawakkalna, developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), is the Kingdom's official app for managing emergencies and protecting its citizens. It played a crucial role in mitigating the spread of COVID-19.

Initially, Tawakkalna focused on facilitating relief efforts by digitally issuing permits for essential workers and individuals during curfew periods. This helped significantly in limiting the virus's transmission.

During the "Return with Caution" phase, the app added vital services to ensure a safe return to normal life. A key feature was the implementation of color-coded health status indicators for users, prioritizing security and privacy.
