Want to avoid walking straight into a rainstorm? Check our rain radar and rain graph before you step out, and you'll never have to worry about getting drenched again!

The Buienradar app kicks off with either a 3-hour or a 24-hour rain radar forecast. The rain radar image will show you exactly when it's going to rain in the coming hours or even the next day. Below the radar, you'll find the rain graph. This graph provides precise details on when it will rain and how much rainfall is expected, measured in millimeters. If you need a closer look at your city or town, simply tap the magnifying glass icon to zoom in for a more detailed view.

Available for your Android phone and tablet, the Buienradar app comes with a handy widget featuring the rain graph. This allows you to check for upcoming rain without even opening the app!

And exciting news for Wear OS users: the Buienradar Wear OS app is back! It displays the rain radar, rain graph, and the forecast for the coming hour. More features are on the way in the coming months. Note that the Buienradar Watch App is exclusively available in the Google Play Store and supports only wearables running Android Wear OS.

You can also access personalized weather information in the "Komende uren in" (Next 8 hours weather prediction) table for your favorite location, even if it's abroad. This includes hour-to-hour predictions for temperature, feeling temperature, rainfall in millimeters per hour, the chance of rain, and wind force in Beaufort.

Beyond the basics, we offer additional maps and data like wind chill, ground temperature, sun intensity, air pressure, gusts, visibility, and humidity. We also provide exact times for sunrise and sunset tailored to your location.

For seasonal needs, we have specialized radar maps. In the summer, use our pollen and mosquito radars for timely notifications on when to set up your mosquito net. During winter, our snow radar keeps you informed about winter precipitation, and our ground temperature map alerts you to night frost.

In the "14-daagse" tab (14-day forecast), you'll find a graphical forecast for the next two weeks. For a detailed breakdown, click on the "Lijst" tab to see an hourly forecast for the first week and daily averages for the second week.

Customize your weather experience with the "Meldingen" tab, where you can set up personalized rain alerts (free push notifications) based on your daily schedule and preferred locations, ensuring you're never caught unprepared by rain or storms.

For an ad-free experience, consider our Buienradar Premium plan, available for €4,99. You can easily find this option in the "Instellingen" (Settings) menu by selecting "Neem Buienradar Premium" (Get Buienradar Premium).
