Tarneeb 41

Tarneeb is a card game played by two teams, each consisting of two players sitting opposite each other. Using a standard 52-card deck, play proceeds counter-clockwise. The goal is for each player to estimate the number of "Allmat" (points) their team can win in each round.

The player who wins the bid to declare "Tarneeb" throws down a type of paper; other players must then throw down the same type. The player who throws the matching paper wins the "Bamh." Tarneeb papers are superior to any other paper type; the player who throws the Tarneeb wins unless a stronger Tarneeb is played. The round ends when all players have played.

Points are tallied at the end of each round. A team only scores if they successfully achieve or exceed their bid for the number of Allmat. If successful, their total Allmat is added to their score; the opposing team receives no points. If unsuccessful, the bid amount is subtracted from their score, and the opposing team adds their Allmat total to their score.

If either team achieves 13 Allmat without bidding for 13, they gain 16 points. If a team bids for and achieves 13 Allmat, they receive 26 points. If a team bids for 13 Allmat but fails to achieve them, 16 points are deducted from their score.

The game concludes when a team reaches a total score of 41 or more, declaring that team the winner.
