During early access testing, players discovered an unsettling interaction where vehicles could collide with child characters. A viral Reddit post from March 28th demonstrated this effect, showing exaggerated physics sending child characters flying unnaturally before collapsing.

While developers had previously confirmed vehicle-related fatalities for adult characters, they clarified this should never have applied to children. A Krafton spokesperson confirmed this as an unintentional bug that was patched immediately, stating: "This content doesn't align with inZOI's values. We're enhancing our review protocols to prevent similar issues going forward."

Game Director Discusses Realism's Creative Constraints

Despite earning "Very Positive" Steam reviews for its impressive visuals, Director Hyungjun Kim acknowledges their photorealistic style presents creative challenges. "We occasionally wanted to include whimsical elements," Kim explained, "but they clashed with our realistic aesthetic."

While recognizing The Sims 4's successful humorous tone, Kim maintains confidence in inZOI's direction: "Our immersive visual quality creates unique engagement that excites both our team and players." The developers continue refining the game's identity as it evolves through early access.
