Each level in **Balloon Drops** offers four possible objectives:

1. Score Quota - Reach a specific score to advance.
2. Removing Dark Pulps - Clear balloons on top of dark pulps to remove them. There are three levels of dark pulps, with the darkest requiring three clears.
3. Bringing Down Popcorns - Guide popcorns to the bottom of the game board.
4. Freeing Balloons from Nets - Liberate all balloons trapped behind nets.

Additionally, each level presents two possible challenges:

1. Time Challenge - Complete objectives before the timer hits zero.
2. Swap Limit - Finish objectives before exhausting your swaps.

**Obstacles** in **Balloon Drops** add to the game's complexity:

1. Party Hat/Cupcakes - These cannot be moved and must be cleared by removing an adjacent balloon or triggering a checkered or double balloon power-up. Clearing a party hat results in a level 3 dark pulp.
2. Netted Balloons - These balloons are immobile and can only be freed by matching them with two other balloons of the same color or by a power-up chain.

**Objectives** are crucial to progressing through the game:

1. Score Quota - Achieve a set score to advance.
2. Remove Dark Pulps - Clear balloons above dark pulps to eliminate them. The darkest pulp requires three clears.
3. Bring Down Popcorns - Move popcorns to the bottom of the board.
