The Carplounge Autopilot revolutionizes the control of your BaitBoat by replacing the traditional remote with an intuitive Android tablet or smartphone interface. This innovative system is freely available through the Google Play Store and is compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled Android device. The connection is facilitated by a Bluetooth transmitter box linked to the boat, allowing complete control via the device's touchscreen.

In manual mode, the BaitBoat operates similarly to a standard model, with steering managed through the touchscreen. The app provides a dynamic map display that shows the boat's position, route, and orientation, updated in real-time thanks to integrated compass functionality. Additionally, users can mark and name promising fishing spots using the built-in GPS, such as "jetty left," "spot 1," or "home," based on discoveries made with the echo sounder.

Switch to autopilot mode, and you can program the boat to follow a pre-set route with specific actions at each point. For example, you could direct the boat to:

1. Navigate to "Sandbank" and open the right hatch upon arrival.
2. Proceed to "Spot 2" and open the left hatch there.
3. Return to the fishing location and signal once with a light blink.

The boat can store nearly limitless spots and routes, ensuring precise navigation with state-of-the-art technology including GPS, compass, and acceleration sensors, achieving 90% accuracy within 30cm.

The system smartly manages line tension during movement, especially when deploying multiple rods to different locations. If tension is detected on one or both lines, the boat's electronics automatically adjust its course to maintain a direct path to the target, minimizing unnecessary turns and line kinks.

While the autopilot primarily replaces the traditional remote control, users have the option to connect a remote to the system, offering flexibility to switch between tablet and remote control. The app is optimized for 10-inch Android tablets, but all Bluetooth-enabled Android devices can be used for control via the touchscreen.

These updates ensure new features, modifications, and enhancements are quickly accessible without the need to return the autopilot or the boat for service. The app updates automatically, similar to standard tablet and smartphone applications.
